Erykah Badu’s new video for song “Window Seat” is garnering attention for- well, mainly for the fact that the song is set to Badu stripping as she walks down a Dallas street until she gradually becomes completely na-ked- pixellatedly so.


Aside from the nudity part, “Window Seat” is also peppered with audio references to President Kennedy’s assassination, pivotal in the video:




As she reached the spot where Kennedy was first struck by a bullet, the crackle of a gunshot is heard and Badu’s head snaps back and she falls to the ground as if dead.

Erica Badu Strips - Windows Seat

A new YouTube video of Erykah Badu, the Window Seat video resulted into a controversy after it was released Saturday.



In the uncut video, Badu walks down the street fully clothed as the song proceeds she slowly starts stripping off her clothes piece by piece eventually taking nudity. Erukah Badu with confidence walked on the very road side removing her clothes off. Erykah Badu claims that the “Windows Seat” video went off without a hitch, but some heckled her for it.
