Mark Zuckerberg Was Hacked On Facebook

Mark Zuckerberg Was Hacked On Facebook -
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s fan page on January 25 was taken down (deleted) after a hacker attack. This only proves that no one is secured online, not even the chief executive officer of the social network of more than 500 million users, the world’s largest.
Technology and social media news provider TechCrunch reported that a strange message appeared on Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s fan page that read as follows:
Let the hacking begin: If facebook needs money, instead of going to the banks, why doesn’t Facebook let its users invest in Facebook in a social way? Why not transform Facebook into a ‘social business’ the way Nobel Price winner Muhammad Yunus described it? http://bit.ly/fs6rT3 What do you think? #hackercup2011
That post “had over 1,800 likes and nearly 500 comments,” TC reported. Zuckerberg’s fan page returns a “The page you requested was not found” notification at this time. But this one is accessible.
The question now: If he can’t protect his own account, can he protect others’?
“Facebook users – famous or not – need to take better care of their social networking security,” said Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant at Sophos, a corporate anti-virus software firm.

How to Hide Info on Facebook

How to Hide Info on Facebook - Facebook, as you're well aware by this point, has a history of privacy scandals. CEO Mark Zuckerberg is constantly trying to push what privacy means in the 21st century — how transparent should we all be on the Internet? — but with each step, a significant number of users push back. Last week, Facebook announced on its Developers blog that it was making it possible for third-party applications to gain access to users' mobile phone numbers and addresses. By early Monday morning the Facebook team had dialed back the change until further notice. Some of the privacy issues have been just too much for users, resulting in cancelled accounts. But more and more organizations are joining the Facebook Connect network and incorporating the site's development tools into their own. It's getting to the point where you're at a disadvantage if you don't have a Facebook account; you can use it to log in with the same username and password on more than two million sites — it's not just for checking in on your cousin's newest baby pictures. So, here's the trick: You can go nearly invisible on Facebook — nobody will be able to view your photographs, see your activity or where you've checked in except for existing friends — but still have an account to use around the web.
If you're ready to move into Facebook stealth mode, follow these simple steps:
• Visit Facebook.com, log in to your profile and click 'Account' in the top-right corner. From there, choose 'Privacy Settings.'
• From the 'Privacy Settings' page, click on 'View Settings' to see who can search for you, send messages to your account, see your education and work settings and more. Change all of these drop-down menus to 'Friends Only.'
• Return to the 'Privacy Settings' page and choose 'Customize Settings' near the bottom of the page. This new page will load a number of different privacy options, but you'll want to click through each one and change the setting to 'Only Me' so that nobody else can see your Facebook activity.
• Stay on the 'Customize Settings' page and scroll down to 'Things Others Share.' Here, you'll want to edit and disable settings so that your friends are unable to write on your wall, comment on posts and check you in to places.
• Return to the 'Privacy Settings' page and, under 'Apps and Websites' in the bottom-left corner, select 'Edit Your Settings.' This page shows all of the third-party websites and applications that you have given access to some of your Facebook information. If you see anything on this list that you want to remove, just click to remove it from the list.
• Stay on the 'Apps and Websites' page, scroll down to 'Instant Personalization' and select 'Edit Settings.' Uncheck the box at the bottom of this page to block other websites from accessing your Facebook interests. Select 'Confirm' when a pop-up asks you if you're sure you want to disable this option.
• Return to the 'Apps and Websites' page, scroll down to 'Public Search' and select 'Edit Settings.' To keep search engines from finding your Facebook profile, uncheck the box on this new screen.

Why Delete Your Facebook Account?

Controversy swells around Facebook's latest changes to its privacy policy-which they say is now longer than the Constitution and offers some 50 settings and over 170 options--users' interest in deleting their Facebook accounts has soared.

A group of dissatisfied Facebook users have teamed up in an effort to organize a mass, coordinated exodus from Facebook and they're using social networks to do it. Their site, QuitFacebookDay.com, asks users to "commit to quit" Facebook on May 31 by signing their name or Twitter handle to the list of pledges.

Here's how to delete your Facebook Account if you want.

New Facebook Security Features

" NEW YORK — Facebook's millions of users are a lucrative target for Internet criminals looking to steal passwords and more. To combat malicious attacks, phishing scams and spam, the online social network is rolling out new security features.

You can ask to be notified by e-mail or text message when your account is accessed from a computer or mobile device you haven't used before. The log-in attempt may be legitimate when you're traveling, but if you haven't left home in a week, you probably ought to change your password.

Facebook is also adding roadblocks when it notices unusual activity, such as simultaneous log-ins from opposite sides of the planet. For example, you might be shown a photo with your friends tagged, and be asked to correctly identify who they are before the second log-in goes through.

Users will also be able to check where the latest log-ins have come from. This is similar to a feature Google Inc. offers on its Gmail service, where users can view the date, time and location of the most recent log-ins to their account. Gmail also states whether the account is open on another computer at the same time.

Some of these changes are already available, while others are still being tested and will launch over the next few weeks. Facebook typically rolls out changes over several days, if not weeks, so not all users will see them at the same time.

The new features come as Facebook faces growing criticism over the way it handles users' privacy. It has been pushing them to share more about themselves with one another and with the outside world. The security upgrade is a sign the company is working to keep its users' trust in the way it handles the private data they post, even as it fends of complaints from privacy advocates, users and politicians.

Hemanshu Nigam, former chief security officer at Facebook rival MySpace, said Facebook has many incentives to be mindful of privacy complaints.

"A little thing like this can turn into a big thing, and could turn into an advertiser saying, 'Well, I can take my dollars elsewhere,'" said Nigam, who now runs online security firm SSP Blue but still consults for MySpace. "The moment a lawsuit or government investigation begins, advertisers get very nervous of that."

Facebook already has automated systems in place that detect when users access the site in a way that "doesn't make sense," said Jake Brill, product manager at Facebook. This can include sending out an avalanche of messages or logging in from different countries at the same time.
Story continues below

The secondary account verification system that Facebook is rolling out makes sure that when people log in from elsewhere, they are authorized to do so. Many websites try to do this by asking people to type words displayed in an image to prove they are human, rather than a computer seeking automated access. But this only helps keep those software robots out, not people, Brill said.

The requirement to enter information that only you would know – such as the identity of your friends – can help stop unauthorized access should your password somehow become compromised.

To get notified when someone accesses an account from a new computer or device, you have to turn that feature on. To do this, go to "account settings," scroll down to "account security," then click "change." There, you can choose to be notified of log-ins by e-mail or text message.

Facebook is asking users to activate, or "opt-in" to, the security setting, even as it takes an "opt-out" approach with some of its marketing and personalization features. With opt-out, participation is automatic unless the user takes action.

Without giving an exact figure, Facebook says only a tiny percentage of its users have their accounts compromised. But a small percentage of 400 million can still be sizable.

The site's users are a good target for cybercriminals because of the implicit trust people place in Facebook. They are more likely to respond to scams and other messages that appear to come from real friends, but are actually sent by hackers able to game the system. "

How to Delete your Facebook Account Permanently

Are you looking for Ways on how to delete your facebook account? but you cant,Ever tried to leave Facebook and found out they only allow you to "deactivate" your account? All your personal data, including photos, interests, friends etc will still be saved indefinitely

"Steps on how to delete your facebook account"

Remove Facebook Connect logins. Many sites, like Digg.com and Meetup.com, allow signup and login using Facebook Connect -- List of Facebook Connect sites (may not be complete or current.) If you have accounts on such sites, go to each of them, and:

make sure you have a way to login that does not involve Facebook Connect (you will most likely have to create a username and password on the site if you haven't already.)
logout of the account, then log back in using the alternate method (not using Facebook Connect), ensuring that you will be able to access the account after your Facebook account is deleted.

2.Copy and paste http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=delete_account  once you have logged on.
3.Click "Submit" and follow instructions. There will be a simple password and a Captcha spam check to enter in.
4.Do not login or connect with your Facebook account. You will receive an email saying that your account will be deleted in 14 days. Any interaction with the account during that period could prevent it from being deleted, so for 14 days:

    - do not try to login to your Facebook account; you may want to clear your browser cache and delete your cookies so that you don't login inadvertently.
    - do not click the Facebook Share or Like button on any site you visit.
    - do not use Facebook Connect to login to or signup on any site (see Before You Start, above.)
5.Wait and watch. At the end of 14 days, all of your posts, comments, info, etc., will be permanently made inaccessible on Facebook.

Second Method

1.Go to the bottom of the home page. Click on the "help center" (http://www.facebook.com/#!/help/?ref=pf).
2.At "help center", type in "Delete Facebook" into the search box at the top of the page. Click "Search".
3.Arrive at the page titled "Facebook FAQs". Look down the list of FAQs and open the one called: "I want to permanently delete my account. How do I delete my account?"
4.Read the Facebook information - it basically asks you whether you want to deactivate your account or delete it permanently. (Deactivating means that Facebook retains your profile information (friends, photos, etc.) but you have disappeared from the Facebook service.) Facebook makes it clear that if you want your information removed forever, you can never recover the information and it will be wiped for good.
5.Click on https://ssl.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=delete_account. You will be reminded that this is a permanent deletion and that your account cannot be reactivated and that none of the content or information you have added can be retrieved.
6.Click submit. Follow the steps, such as entering your password, email, and Captcha code.
7. Do not log in for the next 14 days and your account will be deleted completely. Note, however, that if you change your mind before the 14 days period is up, just log in and this will reactivate your account!

Third Method

1.Emailing Facebook to delete the account
2. Email Facebook directly. The email is: privacy@facebook.com. Request that Facebook deletes your account.

3.Wait to get an email response from Facebook confirming that your account has been permanently deleted. This should take a few days.

4.If you don't hear back from Facebook within a week, email them again. This time, not only email Facebook at privacy@facebook.com, but also send an email to support@facebook.com and one to info@facebook.com.

5.Finally, attempt to log in to your account once you get an email from Facebook. If you're unable to log in and don't get a message asking you to reactivate your account, your Facebook account has been permanently deleted.

Friends For Sale Cheats | Facebook Friends For Sale Hack

Facebook Friends For Sale - Friends For Sale Cheat

Well, there is only two ways I know of. One is log in every 4 hours ($2000) and the other is to invite (up to 20 people a day $500 each).

What I did was have an auto-reload program which reloads my pages on my webbrowser (firefox- search reloadevery). So I leave it on the friendforsale application and have it reload every 10 minutes, that should earn you 10k a day (for loggin' in every 4 hours).

With the invite friends, I found it's best to invite rock bands or something to be your friends. Then you keep on inviting these people which aren't on friend for sale yet. The reason why I said bands is because I figure they don't mind the spam as much as other friends on your list so you keep on inviting the same people every day. You can create a macro do this too if you wanted (but facebook's friend for sale application seems buggy at times so I do it manually).

You can also join stuff and get facebook cash (eg columbia house) but I don't recommend it.

From loggin' in every 4 hours and your invites you should be rankin' in 18-20k a day.
