Drag firesheep-0.1-1.xpi into that window.
Restart your Firefox. After installing the extension you'll see a new sidebar.

How to Protect Your Account :
Now, for those who want to protect their Facebook or Twitter account, take the following as our advise:
DO NOT log in to your Facebook or Twitter account over open, unsecured Wi-Fi.
AVOID using social networking sites at internet shops with unsecured Wireless Area Network (WAN) temporarily or until a workaround for web security is released.
If you're in the US, and just in case you really need to access your account remotely, use Facebook’s new feature called “One-Time Passwords” on the go. Just text “otp” to 32665 from your mobile phone. You’ll immediately receive a temporary password that can only be used once and will expire in 20 minutes.
