Dwayne Johnson -The Rock Returns 2011 - Who would ever think that Dwayne Johnson will be back on WWE after a 7-year hiatus? Dwayne Johnson, famous for his name The Rock, will return to the WWE and will host Wrestlemania 27 on April 3, 2011 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The announcement was made on Monday night by WWE.

Johnson is a nine-time world heavyweight champion in the WWF/WWE. He is a two time WCW/World Champion and a seven time WWF/E Champion.

In making the epic announcement of his return to WWE just minutes ago on Monday Night Raw, The Champion thrashed the crowd into a frenzy and was showered with booming applause.

Johnson said that “I’m absolutely thrilled and fired up to be the host of WrestleMania. My goal was to partner up with Vince McMahon and WWE to create and deliver something globally entertaining and electrifying.”
