Alec Baldwin in Wegmans Ads

Alec Baldwin has been nominated for an Oscar, won Emmys and Golden Globes, stars in a hit sitcom and can basically do whatever he wants with his free time.He's now the star of two ads shot at the same Syracuse-area store at which his mom shops.Baldwin described Wegmans as “a grocery store that kind of pioneered the everything-under-one-roof, big box grocery store. They have photo developing, a coffee bar, sushi, dry cleaning, ATM, you can get your muffler fixed, tires, everything in this one store.Some are confounded as to why someone of Baldwin’s stature is doing ads for the regional grocer, especially since there are so many lower-caliber Baldwin brothers who could do the job. But as the Syracuse Post-Standard reports, he’s given all the money from his appearance to the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.
