Bellagio Robbed - 1.5million

Bellagio Robbed - 1.5million - "Las Vegas police are seeking a man who robbed the Bellagio at gunpoint Tuesday morning and got away with more than $1.5 million in chips.

Police said a man walked into the pit area of the casino about 3:50 a.m. wearing a full-face motorcycle helmet and a leather jacket.

The man demanded money, which he received, and then exited the casino. He fled west on Flamingo Road on a motorcycle, police said"

For me,Chips are coded I think he got nothing will never be able to use them.

In $500 chips, the weight of $1.5MM is about 56 pounds (25.5 kg). So that's the minimum denomination he took. Pretty sure all of them are encrypted with a RFID. They'll be nearly impossible to fence. That's why nobody bothered to chase him. Even if he zaps them to remove any identification, the sensors will note that. Not many slot players are going to buy $500 chips, even at a discount.
