MANILA, Philippines–Former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and her husband and their entourage were barred by immigration officials from leaving the country Tuesday night.
Atty. Ferdinand Topacio is eyeing contempt of court charges against those who blocked the Arroyos from leaving the country.
The Arroyos were supposed to take the Dragon Air flight bound for Hong Kong at 8:50 pm.
