Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s fan page on January 25 was taken down (deleted) after a hacker attack. This only proves that no one is secured online, not even the chief executive officer of the social network of more than 500 million users, the world’s largest.
Technology and social media news provider TechCrunch reported that a strange message appeared on Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s fan page that read as follows:
That post “had over 1,800 likes and nearly 500 comments,” TC reported. Zuckerberg’s fan page returns a “The page you requested was not found” notification at this time. But this one is accessible.Let the hacking begin: If facebook needs money, instead of going to the banks, why doesn’t Facebook let its users invest in Facebook in a social way? “Facebook users – famous or not – need to take better care of their social networking security,” said Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant at Sophos, a corporate anti-virus software firm.
Wow that is scary stuff, but it is just to prove that nothing is safe online and everything you do leaves a footprint that leads straight back to you
ReplyDeleteIt shouldnt take a high profile person being hacked to remind everyone about the risks of the internet. This isnt new! Don't publish anything online that you wouldnt publish in a newspaper, simple.
