Nasa Space Shuttle Launch Today Live Video

Unacceptable launch weather conditions have scrubbed this morning’s planned launch of STS-130. Low level clouds moved in to the area, creating a hazardous condition for the space shuttle in case an issue during launch would cause a ‘return to landing site’. Low level cloud cover would make it very hard for Endeavour to find its way back to the shuttle landing facility here at Kennedy Space Center.
Shuttle launch director Michael Leinbach said he made the call because of the dynamic nature of the weather, with conditions cycling between ‘green’ and ‘red’ every few minutes.
NASA officials have not yet announced when they will try again, though unofficial word says they will skip an attempt tomorrow at 4:14 a.m. and try again Tuesday morning at 3:51 a.m.
The launch will be aired live on 10 Connects at 4:39am. Wake up Early!
