The premiere episode of the reality TV series “Undercover Boss” on CBS got more than 40 million viewers glued to their seats. The premiere was held on February 7, after Super Bowl XLIV Larry O’Donnell, the President and Chief Operating Officer of Waste Management, Inc. appeared in the first episode. “Undercover Boss” is an interesting show where a senior executive disguises himself and joins his own company at an entry level and tries to figure out how things are going on in his company. It is a journey for one week. On Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the CEO of Hooters of America, Inc., Coby Brooks appeared on the second episode of “Undercover Boss.”
The show on Sunday featuring Coby Brooks was really interesting as it gave the viewers a chance to get a glimpse into the world of Hooters. Through the show Coby Brooks, as well as the viewers got a chance to know a lot of things of which they were not aware of. Coby Brooks’ ‘undercover’ journey as the busboy, cook and store manager in his own company made him aware of both the positive and the negative aspects of his company. At one point he came face to face with a store manager who misbehaved with a girl.
Coby Brooks commented, “The things I saw today were inappropriate.” He even added that the way he approached the girls was not acceptable. However, the manager was not fired. Instead, he was warned to change his conduct. Coby Brooks was pleased to find out at the end of his incognito appearance that the employees of Hooters were happy.
