Today a death rumor circulated that Eminem died. If you enter the term "Eminem Died" into Google search, the first result would appear to be from Yahoo! News. A closer look at the URL of the page - which looks pretty close to the real thing if you don't know what you are looking for - shows that the address is from angelfire.com - a dead giveaway that the site isn't affiliated with Yahoo.
For the record, the rapper is not dead. His hoax probably arose from the death of his "8 Mile" co-star. These types of rumors are stressful for fans.
The fake celebrity death circuit takes no breaks for public holidays, and this Christmas the hot rumor has Eminem dead in a car crash.
For the record, Eminem has not died, Eminem is not dead, end of story.
