Goog Cash4U aka GoogCash4U.com aka Internet Wealth Builder aka SundayBikeRides.com (we don’t understand the last one either) is one of the latest “make millions working from home” scams to arrive on the scene.
How to avoid getting ripped off by a “Work from home and make millions” scam:
1) Avoid companies that use ambiguous language about what you will be doing to make millions of dollars.
When companies don’t say anything about the actual work you will need to do, and focus all of their content on what you will do with that money, it is a great indication of a scam.
2)Watch out for companies that tell you that you won’t actually have to lift a finger to make money.
Goog Cash 4 U implies that you will not have to work much at all and that your conference room will be a golf course, your water cooler a mixed drink and your break room a beach (beautiful woman laying on it not included).
3)Obviously false endorsements by major organizations
Goog Cash 4 U says that “Working from home has been featured on ABC, MSNBC and CNN” – notice that they aren’t using their product name for this claim, but are actually stating that the act of working from home has been featured on these networks; someone who doesn’t read carefully could be lead to assume that this product has been featured. In small print at the end of the page the site states:
Fox News, ABC, CNBC, Google, and CNN do not endorse this product.
4) If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Don’t make impulsive purchases online (or offline for that matter) – do your research and make an informed decision.
