Christian CJ Koegel star of MTV’s The Real World: Cancun last Friday took over the hosting duties at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.



After the event, CJ Koegel twittered last Monday - what else - that he’s watching Monday Football.

• Was star in NCAA Semifinal at #2 Montana (12/8) with career-high tying four punts inside the 20-yard line including three inside the 10-yard line. Averaged 42.4 on five punts.

• Boomed a 66-yard punt to change field position for #9 UNH (12/2) in NCAA Quarterfinal. Punt was second-longest of his career. Finished with three punts for 40.0 average.

• Four punts for 39.8 average in NCAA First Round vs. Lafayette (11/25), had two punts inside 20-yard line, one to 7-yard line.

• Booted six balls for 41.7 average vs. Hofstra (11/18) with two inside the 20 including one at the 2-yard line.

• On four punts for 38.5, had two punts inside 20 vs. #19 Maine (11/11).

• Season-high six punts at #9 New Hampshire (11/4) for 38.2 per punt. One punt landed at 3-yard line.

• Punted four times for 39.8 average in rain and slop at Northeastern (10/28).

• Had just nine punts over five games from Sept. 16-Oct. 21.

• Named first A-10 Special Teams Player of the Week on Sept. 3 after 46.8 average vs. Colgate (9/2) in season opener with four punts. Had a long of 55 and had one inside 20-yard line which landed at the 3-yard line.

• Named 2005 Atlantic 10 Special Teams Player of the Year in addition to three All-American honors.

• Ranked first in the A-10 and third in the nation in punt average in 2005 with a 43.02 mark, which ranked as the second-best season at UMass. Had 18 punts inside the 20-yard line.

• Led UMass to the nation's top net punting mark at 38.35 in 2005.

• Set a UMass record and A-10 record for punt yardage in a game with 526 yards at Boston College (10/2/04). Also punted 12 times, one short of the school record in a game (43.8 average).

• Set school record for punt average in a game with 53.0 mark vs. Delaware (9/25/04). Booted a career-best 76 yard punt against Delaware -- third longest in UMass history.
