Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson, in the spotlight recently for a custody battle, grand theft charges and a flashy engagement to reality TV diva Tila Tequila, was found dead Monday morning in her Los Angeles home.
“I can confirm there’s been a death and the body has been identified as Casey Johnson,” Los Angeles police Sgt. Charles Halliburton confirmed to PEOPLE.
Former reality star Tila Tequila announced her engagement to the socialite on Ustream Dec. 9 and took to her Twitter account to reveal news of Casey’s death on Monday night.
Tila next tweeted thanks, and a request for privacy, and then, as the Ministry got ready to hit "publish," posted this:
"R.I.P my Angel. @caseyjonsonJnJ u will forever be in my heart! I love u so so much and we will Marry when I see U in Heaven my Wifey"
