The record of highest scoring in single NFL Playoff games has been beaten and bettered by just one point. It happened so during Cardinals versus Packers game on Sunday 10 Jan. 2010. The final scores i.e. 51-45 makes it into a combined total of 96 and that eventually, is a new record.
Beyond any doubts, it was not a usual routine game of football rather a real thriller the audiences watched on Sunday. Both the Green Bay Packers as well the Arizona Cardinals’ players produced their best in the highly exciting encounter probably the best in the history of postseason NFL games, in various terms and manners.
Though it took them around 15 years for the Packers and Cardinals but they set a new record of highest-ever score i.e. 96 (51 + 45). The previous one set in 1995 by Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions stood at 95 (58 + 37). It was Karlos Dansby’s final touchdown while in the end zone last day that made it into a historic moment.
