Deliverance Movie

How many of you where both horrid and astounded by the Deliverance starring Burt Reynolds, Ronny Cox, Ned Beatty and Jon Voight. This 1972 film classic features one of cinematic film history's most disturbing scenes involving the acts of the local “creepy rednecks.” Deliverance movie is an all time favorite film directed by John Boorman.  If you have not seen this film yet then the Deliverance Movie is definitely one to put on the list. The film that received no less than 3 Oscars nominations is based on a 1970 novel of the same name by American author James Dickey. Dickey can be seen portraying one of the sheriff in the film.  In 2008, the Deliverance movie was elected to the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress for being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant”. This is one of the greatest honors a film could ever receive other than an Oscar. The Deliverance movie certainly is deserving of top honor and praise. Which is your favorite Deliverance character?
